I had my air conditioning system recharge this spring. I have dual temperature controls for the passenger and driver. The dual control for the passenger can only make it 5 degrees warmer or cooler. I can set the temperature to 60 degrees and leave the passenger controller at the same temp and the air coming out of the driver's side feels 10 - 15 degrees warmer than the passenger side. Is there a sensor that may be going bad that is causing this problem, or is there a bigger problem that I need to take it to a dealer for?
The evaporator should be common to both sides so more likely a blend door problem. Blend door opens and closes a door to allow more or less air to recycle as needed for each side to maintain temp. Look for that first.
