I have a 2003 Eclipse GS 2.4L 4G64 Prototype w/ tiptronic transmission. How can i make it faster part wise?
I have a cold air intake, headers, a 2.5 diameter muffler kiari i think. I have to go price the the exhaust system for 3 inch aluminum piping from headers to muffler. Im looking for the best aftermarket ecu chip, pistons,rods, fuel rail,injectors,spark plugs. Basically a super upgrade to all parts cause im frustrated wit this model but im financing it and i could just get an evo 9 but im seeking a unique custom car. looking for an evo 9 motor and trannie to drop into my car unless i can improve hp, torque and lesser gas consumpton all in one. Its going to take me some time but im looking to put over 100,000 dollars in this car alone over a period of 10-12 years lol i kno its crazy but i used to own a 96 eclipse rs remodified stock except for the crank case. it was automatic with a weird turbo impression but no exhaust completely stock but wit shave rods, new bearings.
lol dude... first off... aluminum piping??? second.... u want more power but less fuel consumption? not a chance... sorry to burst ur bubble but more fuel = more power... in general. i would say get the flash program for ur ecu cuz i think u can flash it. ECUflash or something. with that said... turbo ur car. a 2.4 with a 14b is good. get a 20g or soemthing and it will be GREAT! my fren put in a 14b turbo and he ran around 300hp to the wheels running 14s down the track. Quite quick. thats not upgrading anything. But let me know... i can refer u to some material u would like. I own a 00 gs standard. get back to me. ill point u in the right direction
