mild perfomance cam for 1972 super beetle?
I have a stock 1972 Super Beetle with a stock 1600cc air cooled engine, I'm new to VW's and I'm looking a good mild performance cam to put in this stock motor. Any help would be great, thanks!
Motorhead has all good ideas, but since you are on the subject of bolt-on horse power, add to the mix a set of 88mm pistons. Making your mild mannered 1600cc into a reliable 1835cc. Don't put a cam in unless you plan on doing some head work also. Like increasing the size of the intake and exhaust valves.
