honestly i have a 79 bronco with 351 modified in it..........and a 80 cj-5 with the 4.2 ..........my project truck that i will build one day when i get the money is a w100(that's dodge) with 360 in it.....
but if i had the money and were going to build a 4x4 i would go diesel.......just my .02
but in ur case would tell u unless u have lots of money stay with the small block the money to make a big block run good with tons of power can b done with half the money in a small block........
