Cat-back exhausts - who makes the quietest sound?
I have a 2004 Ram with a HEMI. I want the gains but not the sounds. Anyone have any advice on choosing? I'm mainly looking at Magnaflow and Borla - with a single side exit. And does anyone know of a study that compares all the brands - like a Tuner version of Consumer Reports?
No sound test that I know of and it's not so much the volume as the tone that can irritate. Both brands listed are high quality but if you go with the Magnaflow note that they have more than one model and they say which is quieter. Borla is known for a low sound at cruise and a quality tone when you punch it.
