Can I cut out my catalytic converter in my 2001 Hyundai Tiburon?
My car has no get up and go. I was on the interstate cruising in 5th gear. I tried to pick up a little speed but my car didn't go anywhere. I dropped down into 4th and just barely picked up some speed. I have been told that I need a new catalytic converter. This is not a cheap part. Is there any loop hole I can jump through or am I SOL?
SOL. Federal regs require them and most places will not even work on your car if you remove it. If you have to have vehicle inspections where you are, you def have to have it.
