Installing Car LED's (underbody lights)?
I bought some new LED's (street glow underbody lights) for my car.
My car is a 2000 Pontiac grand am GT, the exhaust on the car splits in the center and has a dual exhaust tips on both sides of my car. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3084583 (that is my car and I the third photo down shows the exhaust)
My concern: Nice I have an exhuast like that when I put the LED that goes in the back which is 38" which basically makes the LEDs a very tight fit. It did say to keep away from intense heat so now my wonder is, where am I going to put my back LED tube?
I am not 100% sure where to mount it and if anyone that has experience knows could tell me that would be great. I fear it being so close to the exhaust could cause a problem, but i'm not sure how its done if you just have a one sided exhaust it would still be near it. Let me know please, and thank you.
this is complicated, because it is harmful to fit the light near the exhaust. it may cause problems.why dont you extend the straight pipe down to the back then place the exhaust Y-TUBE/splliter further back and not in the center. it is much safer that way
