Chevy Original Defrost

Chevy Original Defrost
car hookup for a 88 chevy corsica?

i have a 1988 chevy corsica. had an aftermarket radio get ripped out of my center console, along with the face of where the heater and ac knobs are. now i still have the bottom half of the console, just the plastic on the outside that shows the defrost,a/c/ and all that and how they were labeled. at the junkyard i picked up the same center console intact that has the original radio, the a/c knobs and everything. i plan on buying a new cd player for it. would it be hard to switch out the console with the other one as far as all the cables that control the a/c and everything else,, that way all id have to do is get a aftermarket cd kit to add to the new center console. im just worried about hooking up the new console and all the cables from the old unit up to the new one, and if theres anything i should look out for in doing so cause im not much of a car person. thankz!

Yea don't cross your ground wires with hot wires and cause it to backfeed into the fuse box takeing out whatever is on that circuit. At same time get the vacumm lines right or it won't blow A/C where it should on the selector switch. And ohh don't forget to butt splice all wires where non is exposed and put electric tape over them to make them extra safe.
