I am planning on getting two 12" kicker L7's and putting them in there deepbass/SPL box. Each sub will get 3.58 cubic feet of vented box. About how many decibels will I be able to push if I give each sub 500rms? My friend has two Rockford Fosgate T1 12's, in two 3.5cubic feet vented boxes and he pushes 147.5 decibels. Can my two kicker get that loud. About how many decibels will my setup be able to push. His system is in a contour and mine will be in a mercury mystique.
So can I match him in SPL, outdo him, or atleast come close.
I have plenty of room in my mercury mystique. I have a 7.15 cubic foot box with two audiobahn 12's. But the audiobahns are going bad. Even with a 7.15 cubic foot box with an normal sized tire in the donut tire hole, i still have room for my tennis bag or two golf bags. I just want to keep my box under 8.5 cubic feet.
them subs are good bass very powerful bass but i Had 6 of them and i dont like them reason is u have a square sub and a circle voice coil so every time them subs hit there hitting off balance and after a Lil time there gone if u want some nasty hard bass go with kicker but go with cvx and u Will hit harder then ya boy
