transmission replacement?
i am working on a 2005 mercury sable and i have to replace the transmission do i have to remove the sub frame all the way or can i just lower it a little also should i disconect the intermediat shaft to the steering wheel or do i just on bolt the rac and pionon also the converter and the front exshaust pipe goes under the sub frame what do i have to do
do i have to remove the whole sub frame out from under the car all the way is there any way around it
The sub-frame has to be removed, I always leave the rack and pinion just unhook the tie rod ends, remove the exhaust from the manfoild and the cat convertor bolts
