Dynamic Auto Design
Why don't cars become designed like present day EMD locomotives?
My question is why doesn't Auto engineers design automobiles like EMD (Electromotor Diesel) locomotives? Make a 2 or 4 cylinder gasoline or diesel engine in the BOXER design like Subaru and power a electric motor front wheel drive. Not the same as a Hybrid design currently, but will be electric diesel or gasoline motor hybrid driven by a 100% torque engine. Improved gas mileage possiblility? Dynamic braking as well?
Thats what the Chevy Volt is.
