How Steel donuts are made?
Hey guys, i would like to know the process used to fabricate steel donuts, like the ones used to make custom exhaust manifolds, and such.
Are they made from two U mandrel bends welded together?
Are they made from two halves welded together?
please if anyone knows let me know!

Looks like two halves to me since you have to finish weld the inner seam. I usually use U bends so I end up with some straight tubing too.
