detect a "pop." How can I figure out where the leak is (soap and water like a bike tube?). What are the best bolts and washers to use? Is there something from a company I could use to maybe squirt in there to seal? Oh yeah, for this particular year and model, NO GASKET is used; just metal against metal. Thanks.
there are NO 7.3 gas engines by Ford for that year in North America... It was either a 7.0 (mainly used on school buses) or the 7.5 (a 460 )
There are no real magic fixes, the egr tube is known for breaking as well as the air pollution pipe in the back of the motor..
The exhaust manifolds are known for warping sometimes and require repalcement (I think you can find gaskets in the aftermarket for them however)
Bolts, either Ford original or one of the speed shop sets like from summit or Jegs
