Muffler silencer removal?
I want to remove the silencer from my muffler. I think that it has a silencer. My aftermarket exhaust has a muffler with a metal conical piece in the tip which had two allen bolts on the bottom of the tip, I removed these and then ran a hanger through and tried to pull out the cone. It feels like it is welded in there, the whole car rolled back when I pulled, yes the ebrake was on but Im saying it feels solid. I really don't know what else to try, its in there really tight and solid.
OK, my car is an 04 CIvic SiR and I am not sure what the muffler brand is as I recently bought the car and the previous owner did the mod. I think it might be an HKS.
