How would I put an exhaust tip on a car with a turned down tailpipe?
The problem is I cant slip the exhaust tip onto my tailpipe because it is turned down towards the ground at the end.
Would I have to cut the end of the tail pipe so that it is not turned down towards the ground to slip the tip on?
Yes, it would be relatively easy to cut the pipe off with a "hack saw" (a hack saw comes with a metal cutting blade). Make sure to cut the pipe back where the pipe is straight and not curved and that once the extension is slipped onto the pipe it will be long enough. Don't worry, about cutting the pipe because it's easy to fix anything you end up with.
