Firebird Exhaust System?
Okay so I just bought a 85 Firebird with the 305 HO. Was thinking about taking the catalytic converter off and putting on a flowpro muffler and 3 inch rolled tips. Will this increase my horse and torque? if so by how much, and will it be loud?

I pulled the cat off my 86 chevy 305 4bbl carb years ago
the changes wont be huge but will be noticeable
it ran smoother, cooler, got better gas mileage and had more torque
it sounded fine with a turbo muffler on it not to loud
