can i get an aftermarket muffler weld on to my factory exhaust system?? how much does it cost to get this process done and how long does it take for a professional to do it?

I own a shop and you can get a muffler at auto zone for about 52 cents. I would charge $900 to weld it on and I would need your car for 6 to 8 months.
