Anybody know anything about car values and random add-ons?
I'm thinking of buying a 2000 Toyota Celica for $4200 and the one I'm looking at has all of these add-ons:
Carbin Fiber Hood W/ Sparco Hood Pins
Lowered on Ground Control Coilover sleeves
Meagan Racing Front strut Bar
TRD Rear strut bar
OBX Frnt and rear Underbrace bars
Silver painted oem GT Wheels
Custom Exhaust to a Vibrant street Power Muffler
Ported OEM Header
Injen SRI w/ Heatsheild
Ralco RZ short shifter w/ Weighted shift knob
Aftermarket gauge face on the Dash
Would this hurt the value of the car, or make it better for resale. And are any of these add-ons a bad thing to have on the car? Thank you so much! I really know nothing about cars!
Add-ons do nothing for a cars value unless by chance every single add-on is what a buyer is looking for and they plan on paying a premium for it.
There is nothing that adds performance in those mods and to someone who is looking for a decent looking econobox, they are worthless.
