why is my eclipse gst stalling when i hit 5500 rpms?
It is a 1995 eclipse gst with a 3" turbo back exhaust, 16g evo iii turbo, greddy bov, pillar gauges and cone air filter. I am making 18 psi and when I hit 5500 rpms, it stalls and sometimes backfires. I am pretty sure I have stock injectors. Are the injectors cutting off?
sounds like you hitting fuel cut which means you need new injectors.
Another possiblilty is because of greddy bov, if your not using DSM link or stand alone that could be another problem. The 4g63 does not respond well to BOV. so just pick up a DV
and i see a couple of things wrong with you setup as well... stock injectors with your setup (just upgrade to bigger ones) BOV? i wouldn't recommend doing with without a stand alone or DSM link, and I think its about time to upgrade to bigger innercooler and innercooler piping.
