What was the name of this toy Train? Who made it?
When I was a little boy I had a toy train that took two "c" battery's and blew real smoke. I think it was blue and about five or six inches long. About an inch or in and a half wide and I can't remember if the wheels turned. But I do know I was infatuated with the smoke that it blew. I want to say it smelled almost like diesel fumes. It was during the 80's
Does anyone know what was the name of the train and the company who made it? I want to try and find another one.
A blue train? Did it have a face? Thomas the Tank Engine has been around for many years, and I believe they had one that blew smoke. (they do now, check out http://www.toyjeanius.co.uk/tomy-steam-along-thomas-set-4750-378-p.asp)
