How much would it cost to put a manual/auto transmission ,like they have in a Eclipse GTS, in a Lancer Evolution? also would it rob power from the car? I want to know so that way it can be a family car and race car when i ready to shift.

This question makes absolutely no sense. A manual/automatic? You either have one or the other, not both. A tiptronic is an automatic with a gear selection mode, but it is not a manual. All EVOS are manuals from the factory. Its the best for the road and track. Autos are just for lazy people who dont want to learn to drive properly.
The new EVO X coming out in march or so has a DSG transmission on it, which is paddle shifters. Stick is also still available.
