Lenght Shorty Headers
Whats the difference between shorty headers and full lenght?
and which one is better is there any thing special needed to be added to shorties?
Generally shorties are easier to install. Full length headers are a pain to install, I've done them, and I hate to put them on. For the street you wont gain anything by having full length headers. Generally speaking Shorty headers produce more torque at a lower rpm but less horsepower at higher rpm. Generally speaking full length headers will make you sacrifice a bit of torque at lower rpm and gain a small amount of horsepower at higher rpm. Full length are better for a high revving motor that doesn't care about low end economy. Shorty are better for a car that will not be primarily driven at very high rpm. Long story short, if it's a street car go with the shorty
