Manifold Front Half
need advice changing engine mount (97honda accord LX 4cyl)?
My mom's 1997 honda accord LX 4door. engine is f22b2.
My mechanic show me yesterday that the front engine mount is cracked. I want to change it myself. I know some thing about cars and I been maintain my car for half year( change oil, tire, battery,spark plug, exhaust manifold gasket, brake pad, clean throttle body). I have tools and I wonder if how hard the work could be to change the engine mount. What is the major steps I need to do? Do I need to jack up the engine or transmission? where should I jack under the engine? thx.
Shown in the image: part 8 is cracked and part2 may also need to change.

Technically ur supposed to separate the transmission from the engine and then jack up the engine.
because you wouldnt be able to get the clearance if u kept the two together.
you dont want to jack under the oil pan, because the weight would crush the oil pan.
and dont jack under the transmission oil pan if it has a pan.
