intake manifold question?
i have an 02 pontiac grand prix with a 3.8L supercharged engine. the shop told me i need to replace the intake manifold and head gasket. I'd like to get the parts myself so my question is: are those one in the same. on kragen its listed as intake manifold gasket set....?
oh also, how much should i expect to pay a shop for that kind of work. i was quoted at $900 which a few people told me was too high.
I just had my intake gasket manifold replaced on my 2002 Grand Prix 3.8L non-supercharged engine. I went to Midas and they replaced the intake gasket manifold, flushed the coolant and change the oil for $707. I think $900 would be too much. But it depends on where you go.
