so my car had a very very small exhaust leak behind one of the exhaust clamps(i clamped on my muffler), it basically a small space from a big pipe going onto a little pipe which the clamp held together but made more of an oval shape rather than pinching it air tight, so i got another clamp and clamped it the opposite way of the other one, so it would pinch it air tight, and it worked, no more space that i can see, thing is.....i took it for a test drive around the block and it seems like its lost top speed power in the gears, normally 1st would hit 35, now it seems like its only hitting 30(its stick, and i have no tach) so is this possible or am i going crazy?
i looked down the muffler into the piping and everything look okay,, nothing looks like its pinching off the air flow....
You probably crushed the pipe with all your clamping.
