Are the engine bays of a 2003 Mustang Cobra and a 1997 Thunderbird the same?
I've seen people put a DOHC 4.6 Mark 8 engine in a 1997 Thunderbird. (A Cobra engine is a supped up Mark 8 engine) But, I've never seen a Cobra engine in a 1997 Thunderbird (Its a 4.6 SOHC engine right now) Do you know anyone that has done it or have a website that talks about it being done?

Ford did have four SVE T-Bird prototypes running around in 1997. They all had the supercharged DOHC 4.6L that eventually went into the 2003-2004 Cobras. So it can be done.
