does it sound cheap like hondas with bad exhaust or does it sound pretty deep not to loud like a mustang or g35 or corvette give me an example of wat it may sound like and its gonna be on an eclipse spyder 2001 v6 200hp
and like if it is loud is there a way to bring it back to the normal sound of the car or at least silence a little bit or something it with this type ?
I own a shop, and have did a lot of exhaust systems over the years. This set-up on your vehicle should have a very nice tone to it. It should be deeper than any of the Honda's. What to compare it to may be a challenge, but you can get an idea by this; The larger the muffler is in size, makes for a deeper sound. The baffles in it makes for how loud it is, so with this in view; a muffler with two baffles will be louder than one with 3 baffles. Most of the deep sound comes from a larger muffler such as a 40 series Flowmaster which has a pretty large chamber. A six cylinder with large chamber mufflers will sound close to what a V-8 will, and this rings especially true on one with duals.
Part 2:
You will have to go to the company that makes the muffler in order to find out if the one you are looking at, is in fact equipped with silencers. As for the tone; it should sound pretty loud, and may in fact get louder as time progresses. You can't expect much for $49.95, and you can expect it to burn out quick. It will also be rusted in no time due to it being coated. Have a look at some stainless steel ones with silencers, or go with the one by Flowmaster that has the pipe & muffler. This is the sound you're talking about, and I would bet you would be well pleased with the tone too.
