I was given an 18 ft. intex easy set pool (the inflatable ring type). It has the pump but lacks the hoses and the inlet/outlet assemblies. Basically what i have are two holes, about 3.5 inch diameter. It is basically a hole in the pool wall itself. it is fairly thing. The original assembly appears to be like a small threaded pipe that goes through the hole and is clamped down by a large plastic wingnut and gasket. you can see what it looks like here: http://www.coolinflatables.com/product/11093-10746
Basically my question is if I can use some kind of home depot parts to replace the part, even if it only temporary while I try to get the parts cheaper through ebay or somewhere. Thanks
Going to a big local pool store, they have lots of parts, and checking the inventory may have the parts your looking for.
If they do not have the parts they may have a supplier who can find the parts for what your looking for. That way you'll deal with the experts instead of searching possibly in vain on the web.
