I have a 1 HP submersible 8 stage pump in a 1.25" PVC casing.?
At the outlet I have put a 1.25" to 0.5" elbow, so that my gardening water pipe which has 0.5" dia, can be fitted to the outlet. I have also installed a ball valve on the outlet to regulate the flow. Will there be any problem if the off-take of the water is reduced than what the submersible is capable of pushing out of the bore well. ?
Reduction from 1.25'' to 0.5'' is not a good situation.
If the off take is throttled there is an unnecessary load on the pump.
