my check engine light is on and the code is saying egr valve i have an 05 ram 1500 4.7L do i need to replac it?
i have heard it can be cleaned if so how?
you need to find out if the code was for a shorted circuit on the egr circuit or a code for the egr valve its self they can be cleaned out but usually its best to replace them,good luck.
