I have a 1998 Dodge Dakota Sport V8 and everytime there seems to be a damp or cold night I can't seem to start it after, even when boosted it keeps cranking and wants to start but doesn't. I figure there could be moisture somewhere? So any tips on things I can do like fuel stabalizer and what not? It only happens on those kind of nights and I have to leave a heater in the block all day to get it started again. Any tips?
How cold you talkin???? I have a 7.3L powerstroke that i heat on very cold nights cause it sometimes struggles to turn over with 14 quarts of oil that get thick when cold.....i also had a problem once with one of my batteries dying and the engine wasnt turning over fast enough to start till i changed it out....i dont know if any of this will help your gas engine....cause im more on the diesel side
