1.) A card is drawn from a deck of cards numbered one through twenty. The card is NOT replaced and another card is drawn. Find the probablility that a prim number is drawn and then a composite number.
2.) A spinner has numbers 1-8 on it. The spinner is spun twice, find the probability of the outcome. Find the P(a number less than 3 ore a number greater than 5)
3.)The Khafre pyramid in Egypt has a square base that is 214.5 meters on each side, a height of 143.5 meters, and a slant height of 179.4 meters. You construct a scale model of the pyramid using a scale of 6 meters to 2 centimeters. If you are painting the intire model, you should buy enouth paint to cover how many square centimeters?
4.) The angle of elevation from the tip of the shadow of a 12 ft flag pole to the top of the pole is 60 degress. HOw far is it from the tip of the shadow to the top of th epole? Round your answer to the nearest tenth of a foot.
