This Professor thinks so. He believes the label is largely used to conceal what is simply a poor academic aptitude, and is there just to satisy the parent's desire to make sure their child can claim to have a medical condition, as the alternative is to label them stupid. But is he right or wrong?

The professor has worked in this particular field for over 30 years, so maybe his experience and qualifications may add credence to his opinions.
Its a fake condition now imposed on the population to make claims they would not have done 30 years ago!. Whats best, a kid with dyslexia-how do you spell that?.- or ten kids who fall behind brainwashed values.
